*This FREE workshop is designed as an introductory sample lesson and should only be attended once* Our budding Junior Game Creators will make their own game and get to grips with how our sessions work and can then pick and choose sessions based on their interests and level.
If the virtual or physical classroom is a bit hectic to unleash your true genius – relax and receive the full attention and expertise of our game creating gurus in a 1-2-1 hour long virtual session.
Timing: 1 hour session held every Tuesday and Thursday
What they’ll need: Attendees will need a Junior Game Creators profile as well as a Scratch profile. Both of these are free. You can create a Junior Game Creators profile here. For help registering a Scratch account, please visit the getting started section. Classes are hosted using the free webinar application Zoom. Downloading Zoom prior to the lesson and logging in to the above profiles is recommended. Apart from that, all they’ll need is their imagination and a comfy chair.
What do they do? In a 1-2-1 setting the possibilities are endless. Want to develop a quick clicker game? Let’s do it. Or maybe an epic saga with dragons and bosses and such? That’s more than welcome. Having trouble with your own game? We’ll show you how to fix it.
We have found that teaching and learning without the restrictions and distractions of a classroom environment accelerates understanding and results in a more enriching and rewarding experience.
